 | In addition to our large fleet of marine equipment for pile driving, dredging and marine construction, our marine base in North Vancouver is equipped with a Graving Dock. This facility allows Vanpile to build large concrete floating structures with outstanding quality control resulting in excellent value for our clients.
Vanpile's floating concrete structures are constructed using high strength, quality controlled reinforced concrete which include pre-stressing or post-tensioning. The designs also take advantage of positive styrofoam floatation enclosed in concrete. Our structures have been in heavy marine service since 1976.
Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd. has undertaken many challenging and innovative floating concrete structures for a variety of high profile clients. Projects such as a floating woodchip offloading facility for Harmac Pacific, a new floating terminal for the Spirit Class vessels for BC Ferries at Swartz Bay and a floating heliport for the Port of Vancouver (Helijet Airways) are examples of our proven capabilities.
